What is a Raspberry Pi?

The Raspberry Pi is a series of credit card sized single board computers, which can do everything a normal PC can do. It is a capable little device that enables people of all ages to explore computing, and to learn how to program in languages like Scratch and Python . The Raspberry Pi is developed in the United Kingdom by the Raspberry Pi Foundation to promote teaching of basic computer science in schools and in developing countries.
